The TÜBİTAK 2515 COST Project, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hülya Çakmak from our department is involved as a researcher, has been approved for funding


The project titled “Up-cycling of Food Industry Wastes: Production of Plant-Based Bigel Systems and Their Use as Solid Fat Replacers in Model Foods”, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hülya Çakmak from our department contributes as a Researcher, and which is coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cansu Ekin Bonacina from Ankara University Department of Food Engineering, has been approved for funding by TÜBİTAK 2515 COST — European Cooperation in Science and Technology R&D Support Program. Through this two-year project, alternative fat systems will be developed as substitutes for imported palm oil.
